Land transactions require careful due diligence and proper documentation. We advise and represent clients in sale and purchase of land, agreements for sale, transfers, subdivision and amalgamation, agricultural and commercial land transactions, leases, charges, mortgages, easements, boundary disputes, adverse possession, trespass and related negotiations.

Our objective is simple: help clients understand what they are acquiring, from whom they are acquiring it, and the legal risks involved before they commit their money.

How we take an instruction

Send the title or certificate of lease, the seller’s identity documents, and any draft agreement. We run the search, flag charges and cautions, and draft or settle the contract, then attend to completion documentation.

Where a succession grant is required before a transfer, we coordinate estate administration so the land and the grant move together.

This page is general information on our land and conveyancing practice. It is not legal advice. Instruct an advocate before you pay a deposit on land.
